We just got home after spending the day out and about in Bruges. We had a great time in this little, quaint and charming city. We kinda wish we had more time here, but our road trip through Germany and Switzerland calls. We pick up the Merc tomorrow morning to head on the next leg of our adventure. Until then, here is what we got up to today:
Lance and I wandered around and found this beautiful fountain surrounded by bronze figures. It was very detailed and impressive.
After doing a bit of shopping and visiting a cathedral, we stopped for a beer and some fries. Yes, my diet is going very poorly.
Next up was a boat tour of the canals. The tour was about 30 minutes and was a good way to see the city.

After the boat ride, we headed to a local brewery for a tour. It is actually the only brewery operating in the city center right now.
